Second Week Assignment

Discuss why it is important to market yourself?
Since it’s a global world, we can make our brand easily on online and use it to marketing. I think Self Marketing has many advantages. To talk about two main advantages, first thing is Self Marketing is almost free. It is an important point for self marketing including me, because paying to advertise spends (relatively) a lot of money. Second is, marketing yourself lets you to make a plan all the way you want. You can design your own brand, and decorate your SNS or Blog. It has disadvantage that it takes a lot of time, but you can fertilize your marketing skills.
How can you build your brand online?
- I think the first step I have to take is to find my interested marketing area. Start as listing my personally preferred several areas, then choose what I most like to handle. After that, I have to research the product by online markets. And then I will post the advertisement that promotes my brand through Social Media such as SNS, Blog, Twitter. Also, I could use the search exposure at Blog using the keywords. I personally think posting regularly is also very important. Because reliability between you and potential customer gets higher if you show them your persistence.

    Social Media Marketing can be very annoying (like you want to skip the ads sometimes - so do I!) but done right, it can be very effective. Finding the reasons why some SMM efforts succeed and some do not will be key to becoming an effective social media marketer. I hope to learn with and from you and our other classmates how to first become comfortable with social media and then learn to use it effectively.

    Self marketing is almost free but it's time consuming you're totally right. So maybe that's the price of being free. I guess by focusing your time and energy to self market yourself you can learn a lot about yourself and about how social medias work (or any other tool you use to market yourself) which can lead you to really improve your knowledge and value.

    Hello, I think Self marketing is free but time is money so it is not really free, but if we compare it with paying for advertising you are totally right it's free.
    I agree with you about posting regularly, it is very important to establish a realtionship with other bloggers.

Hello Guys! I hope you all doing great. I am, personally, feeling a little bittersweet to know the class is going to end soon. It was such a great experience for me to manage all these Social Media that contains my opinion.   So, the last week’s assignment is to summarize the top 3 take-aways in the class. First, I would say it’s definitely the confidence while talking to my invisible (Internet) friends.
