Is everyone doing well? It’s getting warm. I can’t wait to see the beautiful flowers that will bloom soon.

About this week’s Case Study, I was first afraid of the number of questions because it seemed there were too many. However, when I tried to solve the problems, I realized that it had a lot of information to learn.

First of all, it’s about the time. The maximized CTR rate was in the midweek and weekdays. I was surprised to know that midweek is one of the answers. As I thought about it, I found out it makes sense because people could do the social network to relieve the stress.

Second, the question about western time zone was really confusing. I knew that there is different time zone, but I never knew about the exact types. Also, the word Pacific Time Zone was pretty confusing to me.

Finally, TAT(Talking About This) was the hardest part for me. I didn’t have any idea about the TAT and what is the difference between Likes. At last, I could find the meaning of TAT, but I couldn’t find the actual TAT in Zappos.

I think the lessons I learned through this case study will be helpful for me to choose when, how, for who I will market future. Though It was hard, I think it was such a great experience!

  1. Hello Hae Lim! How are you? It is good to share your ideas with us! Well, I definately agree with your points that time of CTR and importance of western time zone. Personally, I didn't know there was a such time like western time zone. That term was really confusing to me too and it was even more confusing when I solved the problem!!!
Also, CTR was an impressing term. After reading the website and solving the problem, I thought about my Facebook page if those key terms suit to mine too. I guess those terms make sense, becaue even though I uploaded similar information or pictures, the numbers of likes are different. Perhas this is because of the different western time zone or CTR :) I enjoyed reading your thoughts! Thank you

  3. I agree with you for the first two lesson. Learning CTR is a good way to make our tweets efficient. Also, understanding the difference between time zones is very important. You should focus on your target audience when doing social media marketing.

  5. Hi! I also was very surprised that one of the times for maximized CTR is during the midweek. I would thought it would be closer to the weekends. Also, I found it very interesting that you are slightly confused by time-zones. For someone who is used to living in a country with only one time-zone, it must be more confusing to have to consider time-zones when you didn't have to before.
